Introduction

AkijBashir Group operates the ABG Epitome mobile application (the "App"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App. ABG Epitome is an internal enterprise application exclusively for the employees of AkijBashir Group. 

Who Uses This App 

ABG Epitome is strictly for authorized employees of AkijBashir Group. Access to the App is granted only by the system administrator through the admin panel. Unauthorized access is not permitted. 

Information We Collect 

3.1 Personal Information

• Employee ID and login credentials

• Full name and contact information

• Phone number (used for OTP verification during first login)

• We collect your precise location (latitude and longitude) at the time of login to detect your live location

• We collect your precise location (latitude and longitude) at the time of attendance submission

• Location is collected only during these two specific actions

• We do not collect location data in the background or when the App is closed

• Device ID and device binding information

• One account can only be used on one device and one device can only be used with one account

• This binding is enforced for security purposes
  
  

3.4 Camera and Biometric Data

• Camera access is used for identity verification features

• Biometric data (fingerprint/face) is used for authentication purposes

• Biometric data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers

• TADA (Travel Allowance and Daily Allowance) submissions

How We Use Your Information 

We use the collected information to:

• Verify employee identity and authorize access

• All data is stored on AkijBashir Group's internal servers

• Data is transmitted over secure encrypted connections

• Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only

• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. Your data is only accessible to:

• Authorized AkijBashir Group administrators

• Your direct supervisors (for approval of submissions)

• Internal IT and system administrators

Location Data — Important Notice 

ABG Epitome collects your precise location in two scenarios. First, at the login screen to detect and record your live location at the time of login. Second, at the moment you submit attendance to verify that you are within the designated 100-meter radius of your job station. We do not track your location continuously or in the background when the app is closed or minimized. 

Permissions Used 

ABG Epitome requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality. Location access (fine and coarse) is required to verify that an employee is within the designated 100-meter radius of their job station during attendance submission. Camera permission is used for identity verification features within the app. Biometric permission enables secure authentication using the device's fingerprint or face recognition capability. Internet permission is required for all communication between the app and the AkijBashir Group internal server. Notification permission is used to deliver app updates and inform employees about the approval or rejection status of their submissions. Vibration permission is used to provide haptic feedback when notifications are received. 

Data Retention 

Your data is retained for as long as you remain an employee of AkijBashir Group. Upon termination of employment, your account will be deactivated by the system administrator. Data retention after deactivation follows AkijBashir Group's internal HR data retention policy. 

Your Rights 

As an employee user of this App, you have the right to view your personal profile information within the App. However, profile editing is not available directly through the App — any changes to your personal information must be requested through your HR department or system administrator. You also have the right to request deactivation of your account, request clarification about how your data is used, and contact the system administrator for any data-related concerns. 

Children's Privacy 

ABG Epitome is exclusively for adult employees of AkijBashir Group. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. 

Changes to This Policy 

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the App or via official company communication channels.
