BOOKMARKING Social bookmarking is an online service which allows users to add, annotate, edit, and share bookmarks of web documents. Many online bookmark management services have launched since 1996; Delicious, founded in 2003, popularized the terms "social bookmarking" and "tagging". Blogs are like a keynote speech where the speaker (blogger) is in control of the discussion, but allows questions and comments from the audience. Blogs are journals often authored by one individual, and sometimes teams. SOCIAL NEWS A social news website is an Internet website that features user-posted stories. Such stories are ranked based on popularity, as voted on by other users of the site or by website administrators. Users typically comment online on the news posts and these comments may also be ranked in popularity. Wikipedia. MEDIA SHARING A website that enables users to store and share their multimedia files (photos, videos, music) with others. Such sites are often freemium based, providing a modest amount of free storage and paid subscriptions for greater storage. The media is played/viewed from any Web browser and may be selectively available via password or to the general public. A media sharing site can also be used to back up files . MICROBLOGGING Microblogging is a combination of blogging and instant messaging that allows users to create short messages to be posted and shared with an audience online. Social platforms like Twitter have become extremely popular forms of this new type of blogging, especially on the mobile web — making it much more convenient to communicate with people compared to the days when desktop web browsing and interaction was the norm.
These short messages can come in the form of a variety of content formats including text, images, video, audio, and hyperlinks. The trend evolved around the later end of the Web 2.0 era after social media and traditional blogging merged to create a way that was easier and faster to communicate with people online and keep them informed about relevant, shareable information at the same time. SOCIAL NETWORK Social networking is the use of Internet-based social media sites to stay connected with friends, family, colleagues, customers, or clients. Social networking can have a social purpose, a business purpose, or both, through sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, among others. Social networking has become a significant base for marketers seeking to engage customers.
Despite some stiff competition, Facebook remains the most popular social network, with a reach 90% of U.S. mobile users, as of October 2018, the most recent data available, as of early 2019. It was followed, in order of popularity, by Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, and Pinterest.

- This different sites needs internet . It helps people to communicate their friends ,family,relatives and even strangers.It helps also to the users to share and get ideas or information, through the said sites we are aware on what is happening in our society . And also we cannot use it without electronic devices like cellphone ,etc

Empowerment technology is very useful not to me but also to the other students .Through this we gain a knowledge if how we can use internet , the different websites that we are going to use in communicating , sharing ideas and getting informations.And because of this my prior knowledge about internet become wide. It is important for its innovative uses is sufficient in our daily lives.
Empowerment Technology is important for it is used as a source of communication. As years passed, lots of gadgets and other devices have improved its uses. Before, a cellular phone is only used for texting, calling and playing simple games. Now, due to technology convergence or the way technology changes or evolves its system, a cellular phone is not just used for texting, calling and playing simple games. It is now used for communicating people from other places by the use of the internet and applications or softwares such as facebook, messenger, twitter, viber, kakao talk and etc that is consistently been used by mostly everyone of us. Without these applications or softwares, we cannot communicate every day with the people who are far from us. And it is doesn’t just conserve time, but it can make our lives easier.

Empowerment technology is strengthening our scientific knowledge in order for us to learn how to apply those technology-related information at certain points in our lives. For example, if we need to show a proper social behavior or etiquette when dining or even in any formal situation, we also have an etiquette to follow on the internet. It is important that every individual, especially the youth, should know the proper and polite way to communicate when using the internet.
The biggest advantage, I think, is how these technologies connected the world together, sometimes for the good, sometimes for the not so good. It just really depends on the user, but all together, it had connected us and given us the chance to understand our world far better than we living without it. In a way, that’s the greatest part of our technology.

Technology is very important because it is used for almost everything and like everything, technology has advantages and disadvantages. The invention of thecomputer was a very important point. Communication is thus enhanced, and companies can communicate more easily with foreign countries.Since Empowerment Technology is well-known among everyone of us, communication with other people who are far from us will never be a problem anymore. Friendships that has been broken by distance has now been rebuilt through the use of Empowerment Technology.
