I have completed my graduation in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. My mother died of blood cancer when I was just six years old. My father later married, and my second mother died of cancer in her colon. That is why I am confident in my ability to discover a cancer cure. I am admitted to the university and I started learning about blood and colon cancer. I found this very interesting which created curiosity in my mind. Finally, my research journey started in October 2018. I felt a fascination for cancer biomarkers and worked on a cancer biomarker project entitled ‘A Multi-Omics Analysis of Bone Morphogenetic Protein 5 (BMP5) mRNA Expression and Clinical Prognostic Outcomes in Different Cancers Using Bioinformatics Approaches’ with one of my senior brothers and teacher. I was very delighted when the research article was published. This achievement highly encouraged me and motivated me to concentrate completely on research. In my brain creating research is life and I believed that I would only cherish research till death. I have conducted several research projects such as cancer and disease biomarker, computer-aided drugs (anti-cancer and pathogenic virus or bacteria) and vaccine design, and pharmaceutical activity of plants in the last three years which have been published in high-impact international journals. My undergraduate thesis entitled "Bioinformatics Approaches Identified Dasatinib and Bortezomib Inhibit the Activity of MCM7 Protein as a Potential Treatment Against Human Cancer" was published in Scientific Reports. Now I am planning to pursue my future career in research hence, looking for a fully-funded MSc or PhD program.
In addition to these, I love to work with people and want to share my knowledge and experience. Therefore, I along with two of my companion founded the BioSol Centre. The BioSol Centre has become a well-known research organization in Bangladesh within a few years in the field of bioinformatics research. The aim of BioSol Centre is to provide quality research and make collaborative research in Bangladesh as well as in the world. Our main goal is to establish a laboratory in Bangladesh where research enthusiastic students can get an opportunity to involve in research easily and we can contribute to the country through this Laboratory.
