Welcome !!

Hi, I’m Abdullah Nayeem, currently pursuing my PhD at Université Laval in beautiful Quebec City, Canada. My research is dedicated to exploring sustainable and environment-friendly methods of electro-activated lactose isomerization to transform dairy wastewater into valuable products through greener chemistry. I am deeply passionate about advancing solutions that can make a lasting impact on our environment.

With a master's in Chemical Engineering from Malaysia, I have hands-on experience in heavy metal remediation using innovative adsorption techniques. My journey in industrial engineering, having worked in one of Bangladesh’s leading footwear industries, gave me a deeper understanding of the pressing issues surrounding environmental pollution. It also fueled my motivation to become part of the solution.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, my roots remain close to my heart. Now residing in the historic and picturesque Quebec City, I am inspired by both my homeland and my current environment to contribute to global sustainability. When I’m not immersed in my research, I cherish quality time with my family and reflect on how my work can make a difference.
