Dr. Abdul Khayum Mohammed earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from St. Thomas College, Trichur (2012), and Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin (2014), India, respectively. After successfully qualifying for the all-India joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET-JRF), he relocated to CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, to pursue his Ph.D. with the guidance of Prof Rahul Banerjee, completing his degree in 2019.
Dr. Mohammed served as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Dinesh Shetty's group at the Chemistry Department of Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. Additionally, he is involved in research at the Inter-University Center for Nanomaterials and Devices at CUSAT. His research primarily focuses on the development of open frameworks for applications in energy and environmental fields.
