ABC Lab members attended the 2025 Jeju International Island Symposium, where we attended a seminar on the latest research findings related to biodiversity and sustainability. Jewoo, an undergraduate student, made a poster presentation and received the Young Scientist Award granted by Jeju National University President. Congratulations!

ABC Lab 멤버들은 2025 제주국제섬심포지움에 참가하여 생물다양성과 지속가능성에 관련된 최신 연구 성과에 대한 세미나를 들었습니다. 최제우 학생이 포스터 발표에 참가하여 최고 권위인 제주대학교 총장상을 수여했습니다. 축하합니다!

All members participated in the Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial Chemistry held at the Jeju International Convention Center. It was a meaningful time to experience the latest research trends and interact with many researchers. Hopefully members will be able to present their research results at the next academic conference.

ABC Lab 멤버들은 모두 제주국제컨벤션센터에서 열린 한국공업화학회 춘계 학술대회에 참가하였습니다. 최신 연구 동향을 파악하고 많은 연구자들과 교류할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 다음 학술대회 때는 멤버들이 각자 연구 결과를 발표할 수 있길 바랍니다.

Prof. Changyeon Lee (Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Chung-Ang Univ.) and Prof. Dahin Kim (Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Univ. of Seoul) visted ABC Lab. We discussed development of smart soft materials such as actuator, DDS, and catalyst platforms. 

중앙대 화학공학과 이창연 교수님, 서울시립대 화학공학과 김다흰 교수님께서 ABC Lab을 방문해주셨습니다. 액추에이터, 약물전달시스템, 촉매 플랫폼 등 지능형 연성소재 개발에 대해 ABC Lab 멤버들과 함께 논의하였습니다.

ABC Lab. members embraced the beauty of spring with a delightful outing on campus. Underneath the fully bloomed cherry blossoms, we captured memorable photos (click on the People tab on this site). We had a pizza party on the lawn and enjoyed LeeJaemo pizza. It was a great time to relax together and enjoy the vibrant spring air!

With the start of the new semester, new members Jongsuon and Hyeonjin have joined the lab. I hope they have an enjoyable research life.

Prof. Mingi Choi (Dept. of Future Energy Convergence, SeoulTech) and Prof. Minki Lee (Mechanical Engineering, Chosun Univ.) visted ABC Lab. We held a meeting to share the results of our ongoing collaborative research on the "Development of eco-friendly water electrolysis materials". We also discussed convergence research for the development of next-generation energy materials.

서울과기대 미래에너지융합학과 최민기 교수님, 조선대 기계공학과 이민기 교수님께서 ABC Lab을 방문해주셨습니다. 현재 진행 중인 공동연구(친환경 수전해 소재개발)의 성과 교류와 더불어 차세대 에너지 소재개발에 대한 융복합연구 회의를 진행하였습니다.

Dr. Lee, CEO of Sunjin Beauty Science Co., Ltd., visited ABC Lab. He discussed natural cosmetics materials and the latest formulation technologies with Prof. Park. He also gave a talk on the outlook for the beauty industry as a future industry.

Dr. Lee, Managing Director of Cosmax Co., Ltd., visited ABC Lab. He discussed the use of Jeju’s natural resources as cosmetic materials and future cosmetic technology with Prof. Park.
