If you want a robust 42-hour battery life with large drivers and a rugged IPX7 build for intense sweat exposure, choose ABCDONG Earbuds Open Ear; if you need superior all-day comfort, lighter weight, and a longer 50-hour total playtime with advanced noise cancellation features, choose QJF Open Ear.
• ABCDONG: Strengths include massive 16.2mm drivers and IPX7 waterproofing for heavy workouts; trade-off is a slightly heavier build at 0.1 kg total compared to the competition. Best for runners who prioritize sound power and water resistance over featherweight feel.
• QJF: Strengths feature an incredibly lightweight design (6.2g per bud) and a longer 50-hour total battery life with active noise cancellation; trade-off is a smaller driver size and lower IP54 rating. Best for users seeking "set it and forget it" comfort for long daily wear.
The ABCDONG model is engineered for the athlete who refuses to compromise on audio power while staying safe outdoors. Its defining characteristic is the 16.2mm vibrating diaphragm speaker driver, which is significantly larger than what you typically find in standard open-ear designs. This hardware choice drives a sound signature that leans heavily into deep bass and spatial clarity, making it an excellent candidate for voice assistant neckband headphones for streaming or any scenario where you need your music to cut through ambient noise without sealing your ears off. The brand explicitly notes that this larger driver allows for balanced audio output across all genres, ensuring you don't lose the punch of a drumbeat or the depth of a vocal track even while running.
Safety is woven directly into the DNA of this device. The open-ear clip design ensures you remain aware of approaching cars or hazards, a non-negotiable feature for anyone cycling or jogging on busy streets. Beyond safety, the durability specs are where this unit truly shines for the gym-goer. With an IPX7 waterproof rating, these earbuds can withstand water splashes and heavy sweat during the most intense training sessions. Whether you are pushing through a high-intensity interval workout or caught in unexpected rain, the plastic and silicone enclosure provides reliable protection that allows for extended use in wet conditions.

However, the trade-off lies in the physical footprint. At 0.1 kg for the entire set including the case, it is a bit more substantial than its direct rival. While the description highlights that it is lighter and more breathable than traditional in-ear models, it may not feel as invisible on your ears as some ultra-light competitors. If your priority is absolute minimalism and you plan to wear them for ten-plus hours straight without feeling any pressure, this might be slightly less ideal than the alternative. But for those who value the combination of powerful stereo sound, rapid Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and a charging case that offers a digital LED display to monitor your remaining power, the ABCDONG is a powerhouse designed for the active lifestyle.
The QJF Open Ear is built for the user who prioritizes comfort and longevity above all else. Its standout feature is the engineering around weight and ergonomics; each earbud weighs only 6.2 grams, crafted from lightweight PC material with a soft silicone cushion. This specific design philosophy means you can likely wear these for extended periods without feeling the fatigue that often comes with bulkier headsets. The description emphasizes a "pain-free" fit, suggesting that the high elasticity and snug contour are tailored for all-day wear, whether you are working from home, commuting, or engaging in light exercise. If you struggle with the sensation of heavy earbuds digging into your cartilage, the QJF design addresses this by minimizing mass while maintaining a secure hold.
Battery performance is another area where this model pulls ahead for the marathon listener. With a total playtime of 50 hours when combined with the charging case, it outlasts many competitors in the open-ear category. This is particularly useful for travelers or professionals who do not have the luxury of frequent recharging breaks. The inclusion of touch controls allows for seamless management of calls, volume, and voice assistants without breaking your stride, making it highly functional for multitasking environments. Furthermore, the device supports Active Noise Cancellation, a feature that adds a layer of sophistication to the listening experience by managing external interference more effectively than passive designs alone.
Despite these advantages, there are compromises to consider regarding durability and raw audio output. The IP54 rating indicates protection against dust and water splashes but falls short of the IPX7 standard found in the ABCDONG, meaning it is less suited for submersion or extremely heavy sweat sessions. Additionally, the driver technology utilizes a Balanced Armature Driver with a frequency response up to 20,000 Hz, which offers clarity but lacks the sheer low-end impact of the larger 16.2mm drivers in the competing model. If you are looking for the best earbuds for streaming that deliver a thumping bass response, the QJF might feel slightly more refined and airy rather than booming. It is the perfect companion for those who want to stay connected to their surroundings while enjoying premium audio quality in a package that feels almost weightless.

In my opinion, if I were building a setup specifically for streaming content like podcasts, audiobooks, or casual video consumption while keeping one eye on the road, I would buy the QJF Open Ear. The reason is simple: the 6.2g weight per earbud changes the game for long-duration listening. When you are streaming for hours, the difference between a headset that feels present and one that feels invisible is critical. The 50-hour battery life also means I won't be tethered to a charger as often, and the Active Noise Cancellation adds a polish to the experience that enhances focus. However, if your streaming happens primarily during high-sweat gym sessions where water resistance is paramount, the ABCDONG remains the superior tool for that specific environment. For general daily use and media consumption, the QJF wins on comfort and endurance.
Yes, both models support Bluetooth 5.4 for low-latency connections, which helps sync audio with video. The ABCDONG offers larger drivers for more impactful sound, while the QJF provides lighter comfort for long viewing sessions.

No, both devices feature intuitive touch controls that allow you to activate voice assistants directly on the earbuds without needing to navigate a separate application menu.
The QJF Open Ear offers a longer total playtime of 50 hours compared to the 42 hours provided by the ABCDONG Earbuds Open Ear, making the QJF a better choice for extended travel or work days without access to a power source.
