Background:  Public health has begun using social media forums such as Reddit to enhance surveillance and modernize interventions for young people. The current study's objective was to examine Reddit posts about the HBO series Euphoria to identify show themes that resonate with adolescent and young adult viewers in order to inform future social media interventions.

Results:  During their discussion of the show, Redditors disclosed both personal recreational and prescription drug use, including substance use to cope with mental illness symptoms. There were approximately equal numbers of comments with positive and negative reactions to the show overall and to the main character, Rue. Redditors often found Euphoria's storyline and portrayed events to be relatable and realistic to the experience of young people who use drugs, as well as sometimes triggering. Overall, Redditors thought Rue accurately depicted an individual's struggle with a substance use disorder.

Starting a new TV show has a way of setting off a chain reaction: You watch a show, you like it, you look for something else that actor is in, and you find yourself watching Yellowstone. And then you have to watch 1883! One show tends to lead to the next. If you're looking for new favorite shows that will remind you of your old favorite shows, you've come to the right place. TV Guide has put together countless lists of the best shows to watch based on the shows you already love. Some of our recommendations are similar in tone; some share the same creator or stars; and some will get you thinking about the same big ideas.

Below, you will find an alphabetized list of all of our current lists of recommendations based on shows you like. If you don't see a show you like, check back soon, as we're updating our catalog regularly. And if there's a show you're interested in and would like us to cover and recommend similar shows for, please let us know!

If this sounds like fun to you, here are some similar shows that range from harsh competitions featuring amateurs to educational survival shows hosted by trained professionals.

American Horror Story has been so successful for creator Ryan Murphy and FX that both seem intent on making the show until they're in their graves. If you can't get enough, here are more series, from campy thrillers to deeply unsettling dramas, that should satisfy your thirst.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated adventure series following Aang (Zach Tyler Eisen), a 12-year-old boy who teams up with his friends to end an oppressive regime using his unique ability to "bend" all four elements: water, fire, earth, and air. After you finish the series, check out these other shows about super-powered teens, embarking on magical quests, and growing up in a weird, scary world.

Luckily, Bill Hader's tortured hitman/wannabe actor Barry Berkman/Block is nowhere near the first TV murderer to have feelings. If you're in the market for more, our list of shows like Barry includes dark comedies, killers for hire, and a whole lot of weirdos doing crime.

Ready for more shows like The Bear? Yes, Chef! We've rounded up some recommendations for other family dramedies, series about chaotic workplaces, and shows about food. Consider this list your very own The Bear-inspired tasting menu.

Saul may be gone, but all hope is not lost. The shows on this list include action shows with a combination of serialized and episodic storytelling, a dynamic like the one between Red (James Spader) and FBI Agent Liz Keen (Megan Boone), a task force with funny sidekicks, and The Blacklist's most important ingredient, James Spader himself. This list reminds us of the time we were eating breakfast octopus on the Adriatic coast with the most beautiful Romanian textile heiress...

NBC's action thriller Blindspot starred Jaimie Alexander as a tattooed amnesiac sleeper agent and Sullivan Stapleton as her FBI handler-turned-husband. Our list of recommendations includes shows that feature some combination of action, amnesia, conspiracy, an ass-kicking heroine, an unlikely partnership between a weird loner and a federal agency, and a casual sense of humor.

Even though we've said goodbye to Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), Sutton (Meghann Fahy), and their cohort at Scarlet, there are plenty of fun shows out there that will help fill the void. Think of this list as your own personal piece of highly specific, conveniently timed life advice from Jacqueline (Melora Hardin).

There are more episodes of Bones than there are bones in the human body, so it's easy to pass a lot of time watching Bones. But if you're looking for the next show to fill that Jeffersonian-sized hole in your life, there's a little something for everyone on this list, whether you kept coming back to Bones for the electric romance between Booth and Brennan, the cool science, the freaky science, or the banter between smart hot people.
