An AI in Human form:
I had found it intriguing how human a lot of artists make AIs. In literature and Art alike, the AI is is made to be a reflection of mankind. I feel that doesn't take into consideration how differently a computer thinks than a human: that even if a computer's thought process is made to mimic a humans, the structure it's based on - and there for what will arise from that- is still fundamentally different.
I wanted to paint that in my illustration: an AI that is an unnatural reflection of Us: the hair of wires, the many eyes that see in code, in infrared, in a vision of light that is manufactured to be seen like a human's own. The chassis is metal, and the figure hollow of organs, but is still bent into a human form.

Finding yourself alone in a house of mirrors, fog seeping in through a single, open window. You cannot remember who you are, even when a thousand of you are looking back from ancient silvered sheets under glass, empty eyes revealing nothing.

I just really enjoy a good set of colors: the yellows and greens bright as the summer day, the mellow blues of the vase vaguely mirroring those of the sky.
There is a sort of poetry in the fake flora on the vase and tablecloth being paired with the vividness of fresh-cut summer flowers.
The summer flowers inside the winter hues of the vase, and the Fall leaves beneath it, all tell a story of the passage of seasons, if one counts the meadowy greens as the breath of spring.
Fog descended on the valley like a towel on sand: all at once, unevenly, and with some shifting on the edges.
Sharp clothes for a sharp man; A theif with a thousand faces /// multifaceted fabric that changes with the light, a thin veneer that sits over bare skin, the only protection of the cold night air. The rest is a sturdy, practical black.

Overlaying patterns is an absolute blast, and I tried to use that to my advantage here, to attempt to enhance the lighting.
