Hi, I'm Abby 

I am a PhD student working with Dr Jean Carlson and Dr Nina Miolane in the Complex Systems and Geometric Intelligence labs at UCSB.

I am interested in using information-geometric and operator-theoretic tools to better understand nonlinear dynamical systems, neural computation, and human intelligence.

In previous lives, I was a science correspondent for The Economist, professional volleyball player in Athens, Greece, a Fulbright student researcher in Ekaterinburg, Russia, and a Master's and Bachelor's student studying computer science and linguistics at MIT.
