I am a second year PhD student  in the Department of Biology in the Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution cluster at Boston University, working with Dr. Kelly Aho

Broadly, I am interested in freshwater biogeochemistry, with a focus on carbon cycling and greenhouse gas emissions from rivers and streams, as well as terrestrial factors that influence these processes. I enjoy using a mix of field, laboratory, GIS, and statistical methods to better understand these dynamics.

My research utilizes a combination of field data I collect myself, as well as data from the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON). I am currently wrapping up data collection in the Kalamazoo River Watershed in Michigan, and am maintaining a network of continous data collection systems in Harvard Forest in Petersham, Massachusetts.

Using both my own data and data collected by NEON, I plan to complete a dissertation that improves our understanding of terrestrial-aquatic linkages, covering spatiotemporal variation, flux pathways, and stream metabolism.
