Android Talk ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Abbr. Android application ("the App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Abbr.
Abbr. does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as their name, email address, telephone number, photographs, contacts, or location.
The abbreviation content provided by Abbr. is stored within the application in XML resources. Users cannot create accounts, submit content, upload files, communicate with other users, or create user profiles through the App.
We do not operate our own server or database for collecting personal information from users.
Abbr. displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including banner advertisements and native advertisements.
Google AdMob is a third-party advertising service. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process certain information from a user's device and interaction with the App for purposes such as serving advertisements, measuring advertising performance, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Depending on the configuration and services available on a user's device, this information may include:
IP address;
Advertising or other device identifiers;
App and user interaction information;
Diagnostic and performance information; and
Information used to support advertising and fraud prevention.
This processing is performed by Google and is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices.
For more information about how Google handles information when its advertising services are used in apps, users can review Google's privacy information.
We do not sell users' personal information.
The developer's intended configuration for Abbr. is to use non-personalized advertising.
However, advertising behavior can depend on the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the user's device settings, applicable consent requirements, and Google's advertising systems. Users may also have advertising and privacy controls available through their Android or Google settings.
Abbr. uses Internet access primarily to load and display advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
The core abbreviation content is stored locally in the App and does not require an Internet connection.
Abbr. does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as:
Location;
Camera;
Microphone;
Contacts;
Phone or SMS;
Bluetooth; or
User files/photos.
The App uses Internet access for its advertising functionality.
Abbr. does not provide user account registration or login.
The App does not allow users to:
Create profiles;
Upload files;
Submit their own abbreviations;
Post comments;
Chat with other users; or
Share user-generated content through the App.
Abbr. is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not specifically directed toward children under 13.
We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at ndroid.tok@gmail.com.
We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with the App.
Information processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob is handled according to the security practices of those providers. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Abbr. uses Google AdMob to provide advertisements.
Google may process information as described in its applicable privacy documentation. Users should review Google's privacy policies and advertising controls for additional information about how Google processes information.
Abbr. does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated database containing users' personal information.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal user profiles, there is no user account data stored by Android Talk that can be deleted through an in-app account deletion feature.
Information processed by third-party advertising providers is subject to the respective provider's data retention and deletion practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable requirements, or our practices.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
