4-H program annual enrollment for 2026-2027 4-H Program year
Our programs in science, healthy living and civic engagement are backed by a network of 100 public universities and a robust community of 4‑H volunteers and professionals. Through hands-on learning, kids build not only confidence, creativity and curiosity, but also life skills such as leadership and resiliency to help them thrive today and tomorrow.
NEW MEMBERS (never enrolled in 4-H)
Step 1: Enroll on Zsuite
New member families enrolling will create a new household profile in the ZSuite system.
Step 2: Pay enrollment fee via the Alameda UC 4-H Enrollment Fee Survey payment page ($100)
Payment options
Option 1 - Online payment using a credit card.
Option 2 - Financial Waiver (need-based youth fee waiver)
If you have an individual that cannot pay via credit card, please contact the County Office.
PREVIOUS MEMBERS (Members previously enrolled in 4-H online)
Step 1: Enroll on Zsuite
Member families active in 4-H online anytime from 2018 to 2026 will use the same email address to login to ZSuite, but will need to to reset the password (click "Forgot Password" on the ZSuite login page).
Note: DO NOT create a new household profile if you have been enrolled in 4-H at any time prior to July 2023.
Step 2: Pay enrollment fee via the Alameda County 4-H Enrollment Fee Survey payment page ($150)

Please visit the UC Alameda County 4-H page for Adult Volunteer registration information.
Complete the 4-H Volunteer Interest Survey. Once your survey has been received and reviewed, you will receive an email with instructions for completing the remaining enrollment steps.
2. Complete Live Scan Fingerprinting
The required DOJ & FBI Live Scan form will be emailed to you after your Volunteer Interest Survey has been received and reviewed. Some spaces are intentionally left blank.

3. Submit Your ZSuite Enrollment
If you are a new adult volunteer (never enrolled), create a new household profile in ZSuite.
If your family already has a ZSuite household account, add your adult profile by selecting "+ Household Member."
Refer to the Basic ZSuite Guidelines if needed.
4. Complete the Required Training
Go to the CA 4-H Learning Center website.
Create an eXtension Account, using your email.
Complete the 2026 CA New Vol Eng Course. Enroll/View Course
4-H Volunteer Orientation (40 minutes)
2-Deep Supervision Policy (5 minutes)
CANRA for Volunteers (30 minutes)
4-H Vision & Impact ( 5minutes)
