About Abbas Sharif Alaskari

I am a British guitarist, composer, and music producer with a passion for blending Middle Eastern and Western rock music. My journey has taken me from the vibrant music scenes of London to a decade-long exploration of the rich musical heritage of the UAE. Now back in the UK, I continue to create and perform music that transcends cultural boundaries.

As the lead guitarist and co-founder of “Desert Echoes”, I spent a decade crafting a unique fusion of Arabic maqam scales and progressive rock. Now back in the UK, I’m working on my solo project, Between Two Worlds—a reflection of my musical evolution, bridging cultures through sound.

Beyond performing, I’m a dedicated music educator and producer, helping aspiring musicians find their own sound. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, my mission is to push musical boundaries and create something truly unique.
