ABA ScoreCard is a premium digital scoring companion engineered specifically for the Australian Bowhunters Association (ABA) and IFAA archery disciplines. By replacing cumbersome paper scorecards with a robust, intuitive Android interface, it automates complex scoring rules, streamlines group management, and ensures technical accuracy right on the field.
Comprehensive Round Support: Built-in templates for ABA (1, 2, and 3-arrow), IFAA (Hunter, Field, Animal), 3D Tournaments, and a flexible Practice mode.
Multi-Archer Sessions: Scores up to 6 archers simultaneously, featuring dedicated roles for group captains and scorers.
Adaptive Scoring Grids: Context-aware interfaces that dynamically adapt based on the selected round (e.g., "PR" buttons for Pro Rings, "1A/1B/1C" for 3-arrow rounds).
Sunday Fun Day Mode: A specialised custom scoring grid for club-specific events and unique point structures.
Advanced Data & Exporting: A persistent, lock-protected historical ledger with full arrow-by-arrow breakdowns. Allows exporting professional PDF scorecards via Gmail or native OS sharing.
Field Utilities: Integrated PDF rulebooks for ABA and IFAA, offline-ready Bluetooth data sharing, and full haptic feedback.
Select Round: On the main screen, use the Round Type dropdown menu to select your desired template.
Configure Options: Toggle Pro Rings (select 22- or 24-point values) and set your Target Count (typically 10, 14, 20, or 28).
Manage Archers: Tap the "+" (Add Archer) icon, input names, and assign the correct Division (e.g., TRAD, BU, FSL).
Launch: Tap the Start Session button at the bottom of the screen.
Recording Scores: Use the large orange buttons on the Scoring Tab to log the active archer's current arrow.
Navigation: Use the Chevron Arrows or the Target Ribbon at the top to jump between archers or specific targets.
Corrections: Tap RESET to wipe the current target's score for the active archer and re-enter it.
Reviewing: Swipe over to the Ledger tab at any time to view a live, progressive scorecard for the entire group.
Session Completion: Once the final target is scored, a celebration overlay displays the final standings and the session winner.
Manual Save/Exit: Use the top-right menu icon during a session to manually save progress to history or restart.
Data Management: Access the hamburger menu and select Scoring History to reload past rounds. Long-press a session to lock it and prevent accidental deletion.
Easily transfer completed rounds or session data directly between Android devices without requiring an internet connection.
System Pairing: Ensure both Android devices are paired in your phone's native settings (Settings > Connected Devices > Pair New Device).
Permissions: Upon launching the Share screen for the first time, select Grant Bluetooth Permissions to allow nearby device scanning.
Open the main menu, select Share Round, and tap Receive Round.
Tap Allow when the system prompts to make your device discoverable (active for 300 seconds).
Remain on the "Waiting for Round..." screen until the transfer completes.
Open the main menu, select Share Round, and choose the target session from your history list.
Locate and tap the recipient’s device under the Paired Devices or Discovered Devices list. Tip: If the device is missing, tap the Refresh Icon in the top-right corner to re-scan.
The app will automatically connect and push all session data, including archer profiles and exact arrow breakdowns.
The recipient will receive a "Round Received!" alert.
The shared file will instantly populate in the recipient's Scoring History for ledger viewing or PDF export.
