In case of winter weather and our school has a virtual day:
The students in 4th grade will use Google classroom as their platform for completing work. There will be an assignment posted for math, ELA, and religion. Accompanying each assignment will be a short video or pages giving directions or reviewing the topic that the students are practicing that day.
In order to be marked present for this day of school, students will need to respond to an attendance question on Google classroom (they will simply select yes, they are present) and complete their assignments. Assignments will be posted by 8:30 and should be completed/submitted by 3:00 that afternoon in order to be counted as present for school. Students who do not complete the work will be marked absent. Assignments will not be graded, but students are expected to put forth their best effort.
I will also be available for office hours from 10:30-11 for any student that has questions and that will be held via Google Meet. Students are not required to join but are encouraged to if they have a question. I will post a link for a Google Meet on the day of virtual instruction if needed.
Students can comment on the assignment if they need any help, or you as a parent may email me and I will get back to you.

Absentee QR code
To improve communication of student absences to our teachers, we are asking all families to use this form to report daily attendance by 8:00 am each day. Your submission of the form in a timely manner helps us to ensure the safety of our students.
Except for illness absences longer than three days, which still require a doctor's note for return, the submission of this form serves as an excuse note.
