Aatmiya Hospital was founded by Dr. Dhaivat Mehta in 2013 and has been serving clients and patients since. Founded in 2013 by Dr. Dhaivat Mehta & Dr. Munira Mehta, Aatmiya Hospital is Gandhidham's dedicated Psychiatry Day Care Centre and De-addiction OPD. Over more than a decade, we have built an integrated healthcare ecosystem — combining specialist psychiatric consultation, on-site EEG, a full-spectrum diagnostic laboratory (Param Diagnostic Microbiology Laboratory), and an in-house pharmacy (Aatmiya Pharmacy) — all under one roof.
Our philosophy is simple: a patient should be able to investigate, consult, receive a prescription, and collect their medicines in a single visit — without the added burden of multiple appointments, multiple locations, or delays. We also extend our services across Gandhidham through a network of visiting specialty consultants.
Based at Gandhidham, Kutch, Aatmiya Hospital has had the opportunity to cater to not only domestic clients and patients but also international clients and patients, providing expert services to help them feel mentally healthy and lead a fulfilling life.
At Aatmiya Hospital, our consultant offers treatment for all kinds of psychiatric illnesses, ranging from headaches, insomnia, stress, ADHD, anxiety, epilepsy, addictions, panic attacks, conversion disorder, OCD, relationship issues, and anger management. Our consultants and expertise are here to support your health and unlock the way to a symptom-free and healthy life ahead.

Dr. Munira D. Mehta (MD, Microbiology) is a Consultant Microbiologist and Infection Control Specialist with over 13 years of experience in clinical microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, and diagnostic laboratory medicine. She envisioned Aatmiya Hospital in 2013 and serves as a Consultant at the same. Trained at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Medical College, Rajkot, she has worked across government hospitals, port trust facilities, and private clinical settings before founding Param Diagnostic Laboratory in Gandhidham in 2019.
Her clinical focus lies in the detection and characterisation of drug-resistant organisms — ESBLs, carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, MRSA, and NDM-1-producing isolates — and in translating this into practical antimicrobial stewardship at the point of prescription. She serves as the laboratory backbone of the Aatmiya Healthcare Ecosystem, providing integrated diagnostic support across psychiatry, general medicine, and de-addiction care.
Beyond the laboratory, Dr. Mehta is a certified Yoga Coach under the Gujarat State Yog Board. She believes that the discipline of scientific enquiry and the inwardness of contemplative practice share a common aim — understanding the systems that sustain life, and supporting those systems when they fail.
