Final Manuscript Due: August 30, 2021

Scope

Ambient Assisted Technologies and techniques with the smart devices have evolved into an active area of research and development in healthcare systems. This is due to the healthcare system that faces diverse and complex everyday challenges, ranging from used equipment and drug inventory management to patients’ records. In addition to these challenges are patient monitoring, scheduling and follow-up managements in hospitals, homes and nursing homes, as well as providing the appropriate transportation.

AATCare aims to bring together people from both academia and industry for original discussions and to prompt future directions in the development of new techniques and strategies for healthcare. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Context and situation awareness

  • Human-Agent Interactions

  • Human-Computer Interactions

  • Intelligent data fusion and aggregation

  • Intelligent query and data dissemination

  • Intelligent systems in hospitals

  • Knowledge modeling and reasoning

  • Mobile peer-to-peer systems for healthcare

  • Patients diagnosis and monitoring systems

  • Patients transportations

  • Recommender systems for healthcare

  • Robotics in healthcare

  • Secure systems using smart techniques for healthcare

  • Security, trust and privacy in healthcare

  • Sensors and actuators for healthcare

  • Simulation tools and methods for healthcare

  • Smart sensors for healthcare

  • Smart systems for patient care

  • Software agents in healthcare
