I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa, working under the supervision of Professor Diane Guignard. I earned my PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, where I completed my dissertation, “Mathematical Models, Discretizations, and Solution Strategies for the Coupling of Free Fluid with a Poroelastic Medium,” under the guidance of Professor Ivan Yotov.
My research lies at the intersection of numerical analysis and scientific computing, with a particular focus on developing and analyzing methods for solving partial differential equations (PDEs). I am especially interested in problems involving fluid flow and the complex interactions between free fluid and deformable, poroelastic materials. I am also a recipient of the Andrew W. Mellon Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship for the 2024–2025 academic year.
Originally from Delhi, India, I began my academic journey at the University of Delhi, where I completed both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees between 2013 and 2018.
