COVID 19

As of now, the use of masks in Portugal is not mandatory except in the following places: health establishments and services, including pharmacies; residential or reception structures or home support services for vulnerable populations or the elderly, as well as integrated continuing care units of the National Network for Integrated Continuing Care; and, finally, collective passenger transport, including air transport, as well as passenger transport by taxi or Uber/Bolt.

Also, all passengers, whether nationals or foreigners, upon arrival in Portugal must: present EU COVID Digital Certificate in the form of testing, recovery or vaccination certificate OR present proof of a COVID-19 test, with a negative result, carried out within the last 72 hours, or 24 hours (in the case of the rapid antigen test (TRAg)), before boarding. The presentation of an EU COVID Digital Certificate or proof of COVID-19 test is excluded for children who have not yet turned 12 years of age.
