Aarthi moved to USA to attend graduate school at Wichita State University for Masters in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Networking. She then joined Amazon Web Services and started her role as a Support Engineer where she provided technical support to customers as they build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. Since then, she has worked with different teams focusing on helping customers build cloud infrastructure and also help teams develop, migrate and debug application issues.
Aarthi loves building things, so it’s perfect that her role as Solutions Architect helps partners and customers build their businesses on Amazon Web Services. Whatever she does, she loves to be customer facing and being the advocate for customers helping them build ground-breaking applications.
Aarthi’s passion is encouraging school going girls to pursue a career in technology. She actively volunteers to talk to girls on Technology with the Girls Who Code program. She is also part of the Anita Borg Institute Silicon Valley. She actively mentors new college graduates with their technology and career questions.
Aarthi loves traveling to new places and exploring different cultures. She also gets invited to talk at Technology conferences on topics of Cloud computing, company culture and women. She is passionate about learning Contemporary and Bollywood dance and is part of Mona Khan Dance Company in the Bay Area.
