Hi, I'm Aaron, a Software Engineer from Snoqualmie Pass, Washington. Resume here. Below is a list of some personal projects I have worked on over the years. I intentionally exclude talking about work related projects because IP confidentiality for the employers I have worked and work for is very important to me.

I have 24 years experience developing Java software, with extensive experience developing in Enterprise Network environments. I am an artistic engineer, with ADD, a good programmer with a poor memory, and I suck in interviews. It is my belief that in recent years Software Engineering is losing the art that is "State of the Art", and becoming more and more process driven, and the more process driven we become the less creative, and innovative we are able to be. "State of the Art" is how revolutionary new systems are created, envisioned, designed and built, and new more eloquent programming approaches are thought of, my uniqueness in my artistic abilities, ADD that both allows me to hyperfocus on subjects I am interested in, while trying to find more efficient ways to do things in order to stave off boredom, helps make me an out of the box thinker.

There is more than one way to find, and hire a good engineer, and some hiring processes will miss out on the gems, in order to follow a process or maintain a process, you're probably going to miss those exceptions to the rule. I am one of those exceptions.

Thanks for your time!

Sincerely,

Aaron Schiffman

RMDMIA (Robotic Mission Decision Manager for Intelligent Agents) I am only able to share a limited subset of Javadocs to demonstrate I can write an API. Open zip file to package directory org.happy.artist.rmdmia.instruction for javadoc html files. The instruction package is a component in the RMDMIA, the RMDMIA completely automates generation of Instructions, transformations, and classes on the fly. I cannot share more due to trade secrets. I consider this project to be my greatest technological achievement.
