Selected for a 2024 American Physical Society Career Mentoring fellowship, which is designed to give career scientists the opportunity to mentor younger students and researchers
Over fifteen research proposals as Principal Investigator or co-Principal Investigator at free-electron laser facilities including European XFEL and FLASH at DESY Hamburg, LCLS at SLAC Stanford, and FERMI at Elettra Trieste. I was also recently the Principal Investigator for an Ultrafast Electron Diffraction experiment at the meV-UED facility at SLAC Stanford

Awarded the prestigious Young Investigator Grant (only 15 awardees across all natural sciences in Germany) from the Carl Zeiss Foundation to perform independent research on Electronic Correlations in Quantum Nano-systems
Awarded an Innovation grant through the University of Freiburg to conduct time-correlated single photon counting on highly-excited chromophores
Selected to attend the 60th annual Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates (one of 75 US graduate students across Physics, Chemistry, Biological/Medical science, and Engineering selected to attend). My research was featured in a special Lindau Meeting journal published by German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (DAAD) along with two other participants worldwide
