Lake Tobias Wildlife Park

Previously a seven-year employee.

I worked as the Information Technology Manager for the Park and worked closely with the PR Director to keep our business going strong!

I was put front and center for all our business changes because, with each new addition to the park, new network additions,  cameras, and point-of-sale need to be implemented and maintained. It was my job to work hard behind the scenes to ensure a stable environment and keep everything running smoothly.  Working behind the curtains is not all that is required, being able to assist and train our employees with these new technologies and how to properly work and troubleshoot with them is another one of my responsibilities. 

When I'm not busy among our many IP's I also work as a main concession manager in charge of most of the employees in the park. This comes with the ability to make many decisions on the fly and gives me the opportunity to govern and build my leadership skills.

My favorite job at the park is as a main Petting Zoo Keeper. Not only does this come with the responsibility to handle customers in an overwhelming environment, but it has also taught me to pay close attention to detail by looking after so many animals. Being able to recognize quick and subtle changes in behaviors of the animals I care for has been an excellent exercise and I have learned to emulate a careful and concise work ethic in my proceeding endeavors.
