Aaron Glenn

According to the April 22 1996 issue of the Baltimore Sun, a body was found. A city cleanup crew found the body of an unidentified man in his 20s about 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 1996 in the woods near the 5000 block of Franklintown Road in Leakin Park. Police said the man appeared to have been shot fatally and that autopsy results were expected later.

A reader emailed me and informed me this victim was his close friend. Aaron Glenn had been carjacked, killed and left for dead in the park.

The reader says this of Mr. Glenn:

"Aaron was a club dancer, life of the party, use to be in a rap group called "Phaze-3", as a dancer along our mutual friend, Marc Andrews: SISQO OF "DRU HILL". Phaze-3 consist of two deejays (Dj Pizazz, now known as Jay Claxton, radio dj @ werqfm/95.9 & 92.3, & Dj Tim Graham) 3 rappers (Corey Price aka "K-Swiss", now deceased, Jahaw Ray aka "The Mighty Ka'am", Stephen Long aka "Shorty Black", all of us from the Northeast Baltimore neighbors of Northwood. Aaron loved the ladies, cracked endless jokes, loved his family and friends, and just was real, and a soldier when it came down to it."
