Arlington Informed's Table Celebrating Jewish History Month at the Robbins Library.
Since October 7th 2023, there has been a surge of misinformation on Jewish history, culture, and Israel. This misinformation has been particularly pervasive within the milieu of academia and progressive spaces which intersect heavily with the town in which I live, Arlington MA.
Most alarmingly, much of the false information is being laundered directly by locally based propaganda organizations and fly under the radar of the traditional top-down Jewish community advocacy organizations such as the ADL.
In response to this disinformation, several concerned community members and myself founded "Arlington Informed" which is a locally based organization dedicated to platforming the history of the Jewish people and telling our story. Arlington informed hosts educational and community events and provides curated lists of resources on Jewish history from reliable historians and researchers.
