The course provides an overview of the relationships between structural concepts and explicit shapes/forms of buildings as well as physical and digital tools for studying this.
The course is divided in two parts:
1 / Lectures, exercises and individual task (~7 weeks)
2 / A group task where architects and engineers collaborate on one project (~7 weeks)
Design software: Rhino, Grasshopper, Karamba
Fabrication tools: 3D printers (Creality Ender 7), Lasercutter (Epilog Fusion Pro)
