The Asian American and Pacific Islander Democratic Caucus of Nevada (AAPIDC) seek to maximize the participation of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the Democratic Party as a powerful force in determining elections at all levels of the political process. Recognizing the rich heritage represented by the terms Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, we seek to strengthen and solidify by our political participation and leverage that power to create lasting change for members of our community. The AAPIDC is comprised of seven Executive Board officers: Chair, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Press Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary elected by general members. A parliamentarian is appointed by the AAPIDC Executive Board to advise the Chair of proper procedures but does not have a vote on the Executive Board. The term of office is 2 years.
