THE PROCESS

MEET AND GREET
The meet and greet will take place and is an opportunity for you and your pets to know your sitter, receive answers to any questions, and give detailed care and house instructions.
RELAX AND UNWIND
Services will start. At the end of each visit, you receive a detailed pet report with photos and GPS map.
SERVICES
All Pet Sitting services include feeding, walking, playtime, medication administration, enrichment, waste disposal, massages, basic grooming(brushing and paw cleaning), and a detailed report with photos and a GPS map.
COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES
Bringing in the mail and/or packages, watering plants, and putting out trash/recyclables.
VISIT HOURS
Morning visits occur between the hours of 7:00 am- 10:00 am. Afternoon visits occur between 11:00 am- 3:00 pm. Evening visits will be between the hours of 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm. Late visits will be between the hours of 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm. Overnight visits will be between the hours of 9:00 pm - 7:00 amIf your pet has a specific medical need, please alert your sitter, who will be glad to work with you to set up a specific schedule. Dogs will be visited a minimum of every 12 hours. Cats a minimum of 24 hours. If you would like to reserve a specific time, a $5 fee will be added to the cost per visit.
MEET AND GREET
The meet and greet will take place and is an opportunity for you and your pets to get a chance to know your sitter, receive answers to any questions, give detailed care and house instructions.
Before booking Meet and Greet here's a list of items to have ready to prepare for intake:
Your pet's vaccination records
Your pet's feeding and walking/bathroom schedule
Your pet's medications and instructions
Your pet's medical insurance (if your pets have medical coverage)
Your veterinary information (name, address, phone number)
Your pet's emergency contact (name, address, phone number)
Credit/Debit card for automatic payments
Two copies of house keys and garage, gate, or alarm codes
At each Meet and Greet you'll give detailed care house instructions and complete AApetcare LLC Service Agreement, Client and Pet Registration, Photo and Video Release Agreement, Card Authorization, and Veterinary Medical Release Form.

AApetcare provides services year-round, however, have the following office hours Monday-Thursday 8 am- 4 pm to answer all business-related questions and/or concerns.

PAYMENT TERMS
AApetcare accepts cashless payments by credit/debit cards Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express through our secure payment processing. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cashapp, Zelle or Venmo are accepted as well. Select the desired payment method during registration. Cash payments are only accepted and greatly appreciated for tips. 100% of the tip goes to your sitter.
When Pet Sitting, House Sitting, Dog Boarding, or Dog Daycare booking is requested a $50(new clients), or $30(existing clients) non-refundable holding fee is required and this must be paid no later than 72 hours from confirming the quote to get your dates on the master calendar no exceptions. Your desired dates will not be held and there will not be any guarantees that an AApetcare sitter can still provide services if haven't completed payment on time as required.
Full payment will be required 1-2 weeks before your scheduled booking. Full Payment is required to secure all holiday reservations.
All pricing excludes taxes. Any applicable taxes will be added during checkout.
TRAVEL POLICY
All prices include travel to your home when less than 10 minutes from AApetcare mailing address in Cleveland,OH 44108. Travel 11 minutes and beyond is charged at a rate of $1.00 per minute

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
AApetcare may be unable to complete services due to unforeseen weather circumstances. If storming all dog walks will be pushed back until the storm has let up or rescheduled for safety. If under 32 degrees Fahrenheit / 80 degrees Fahrenheit pets will go out for shorter periods and the rest will be spent indoors interacting.
REQUIREMENTS
Rabies is the only vaccination that is mandated by law.
Vaccines dogs should be current on:
Distemper/hepatitis/parainfluenza/parvovirus
Leptospirosis
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Lyme
Canine influenza (H3N2 and H3N8)
Vaccines cats should be current on:
Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia (FVRCP)
We highly recommend having your pet on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
If there is a lapse in vaccination your pet will be denied services until vaccination Is current.
AApetcare reserves the right to deny any service based on an animal's behavior, health, or age.
MINIMUM VISIT POLICY
Minimum visits are in place to build bonds and trust with your pets.
RESERVATIONS
AApetcare requires all clients to book requested services online through their registered online portal here. This is the fastest way to be added to the schedule. Your reservation is only confirmed when you have received a final invoice/confirmation via e-mail. Messages left are not considered confirmations.
Online Portal - Your login will be your email used during registration. You will be sent a temporary password by e-mail to sign in the first time which you can change to a password you will remember. If you happen to forget your password please hit the "RESET PASSWORD" link on the portal dashboard here. AApetcare cannot ‘hold’ space. We accept jobs on a first-come, first-served basis. Please let us know your desired dates and submit the required $50( new-clients) or $30(existing clients) non-refundable holding deposit if applicable, no matter how far in advance.
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
After booking, you will receive an e-mail to prepare for your pet's upcoming visits. Once payment has been completed you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
HOLIDAY FEES
Holidays are a busy time for AApetcare, that's why a $40.00 fee will be charged for the following in-demand times:
New Year's Day - January 1st
Martin Luther King Jr. Day - Third Monday in January
Presidents' Day (Washington's Birthday) - Third Monday in February
Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
Independence Day - July 4th
Labor Day - First Monday in September
Columbus Day - Second Monday in October
Veterans Day - November 11th
Thanksgiving Week - Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day Fourth Thursday in November, Black Friday (subject to charge day and after Thanksgiving)
Christmas Week - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day December 25th, and Day After Christmas (subject to charge day and after Christmas)
These are the federal holidays recognized by the U.S. government
CANCELLATION
All payments are non-refundable. If you may have to cancel please give at least a 24-hour cancellation notice, however, your card on file will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. Your full payment will be applied to a future booking for the same duration of days and can be used within 3 months of the original invoice, subject to AApetcare's availability.
LAST MINUTE SERVICE
Sometimes emergencies happen – We understand! However, do not assume that we have received your last-minute request until you have received an invoice/confirmation via e-mail. Emergency service is only provided to clients who have a key on file. A $10.00 fee will apply to reservations made with less than 24 hours' notice. If we need to pick up your key prior to service, we require a minimum of 72 hours notice and will charge the key pick-up fee of $10.00 each way.
SHARED ASSIGNMENTS
AApetcare insurance requires that no other person have access to your home during the visits for liability reasons.
REGISTRATION FEE
A one-time $20.00 fee will be charged for the procession of all new clients at the time of consultation.
KEYS
AApetcare requests your preferred key agreement upon registration to be given at the time of your meet and greet. We request you to have two copies of your key made. One to keep with your sitter and one to be kept in the office for lock-outs, back-up sitter. If you opt to have a lockbox, a $30 fee must be paid before meet and greet. The lockbox will be given at your meet and greet, code set, and you place the key inside.
SECURED AREAS
It is the pet owner's sole responsibility to pet-proof any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet has access. AApetcare does not assume and has no liability for any injuries the pet may sustain while in its own home.
REFER & EARN
Share AApetcare with other pet parents. When your referral creates an account and books their first stay with AApetcare, you’ll both receive a $10 credit, automatically.
