The Ice Cream Social is back and will be held on 9/2 at Academy Ave. Come join friends and enjoy Kal's Ice Cream. Entry is free!
The Kindergarten Meet Up was a lot of fun! Thanks to all the new families and those returning to Academy for coming out to celebrate another fantastic back to school! Our new kindergarteners had a lot of laughs, some yummy snacks, and met some new friends!
Thank you to the McPartlin family for their hard work in getting the school grounds ready for the start of school!

A HUGE thank you to the Weymouth Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council helping to for sponsoring this month's assembly from the Mad Scientist! The Flight Stuff assembly was a big hit and the students had a wonderful time!
Our Weymouth Youth Soccer snack stand was a huge success! THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers (students and parents) who joined us and pitched in behind the scenes. We couldn't have done it without you!
Thank you to all who came out for music bingo at the Ocho Cafe! A great time was had by all. We hope to continue to offer more parent/family meet ups throughout the year!
BOOK BINGO
Another great event at Academy - it was wonderful to see so many students and families come join us! There were lots of laughs, books, and candy for all!
The annual Winter Workshop was a lot of fun! A big THANK YOU to all our volunteers who came to help at the event, donated raffle items, and helped with the behind the scenes tasks needed to pull off this amazing event!
Prismatic Light Show
We want to thank the Massachusetts Cultural Council and for the Weymouth Cultural Council for their support in being able to host the Prismatic Light Show at school this month! It was a wonderful assembly full of fun, energy, and stem education!
Welcome Len Cabral!
The AAPCC is thrilled to host the talented storyteller Len Cabral for this month's assembly. We than the Massachusetts and Weymouth Cultural Councils for their generous support to make this assembly happen!
Wow, the fun run was a HUGE success this year pulling in just under $30,000 (yes you read that correctly)!!
We are looking forward to our November AAPC meeting to begin discussions about what we want to use these funds for! Please come share your ideas!!
THANK YOU to all the volunteers who donated their time, effort, and money/candy/items for our Trunk or Treat event! We had some incredibly creative cars this year and everyone had a blast! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did!
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help us kick off the school year! Our Kindergarten meet up was so much fun and new friendships have already been made. If you haven't yet checked out the Academy grounds, please do so. We had an amazing showing for our Beautification Day with lots of students, staff, and parents working hard to pull weeds, spread out new wood chips on the playground, and plant flowers to brighten up the campus! It was hard work, but we had a lot of fun! And finally, our Ice Cream Social was a huge hit as always. Thanks to Ellie's Treats for making the night so special. It has been wonderful to see the excitement and smiles as we get ready for the first day!
