We have started sessions to help anyone and everyone with tech issues and more. If you are reading this and would like some tech help, then please to the Tech Session Sign-Up Form to choose your best appointment times. The weekends are best for us so please keep that in mind when signing up. If you have a question that doesn't require hands on help, please fill out the Tech Question Form and will put the answer below or in another edition.
A screenshot is an image of your phone's screen that will get saved to your camera roll.
Press the on/off button and the volume button at the same time.
On an iPhone a small square will appear at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Click on this if you want to crop your shot. On an Android or Google, the image will automatically be saved to your photos.
If this does not work, hold the on/off button for a few seconds.
A small row of icons should appear at the bottom.
Press the icon labelled screenshot.
Press the home button and the on/off button at the same time.

If this does not work, follow the instructions for phones without a home button.
Go into settings and search for “wallpaper” by swiping upward so the search bar appears or by scrolling down. Wallpaper may be located in "personalization."
Click on “choose a new wallpaper” and select your photo.
Set the photo as home or lock screen. (Your home screen is where your apps are and your lock screen is the first thing you see when the phone turns on.)
To take a screenshot on a MacBook, press and hold the Shift, Command and 3 keys at the same time.
A small square should appear in the bottom right corner of your screen (bottom left on an iPhone or iPad).
Click on the square and follow the color-coded directions on the image at the very bottom of this section. For more questions or information, fill out the Tech Questions form or request a Tech Session with A and L (T-SAL) via the T-SAL Sign-Up Form. Feel free to experiment with your computer to see what else it can do and come back to us with observations or questions!!

If you are using a computer with a Command button, click Command+Shift+T to open the old tab.
If you are using a computer without a Command button, click Ctrl+Shift+T to open the old tab.
Open the slide in a new tab by clicking on the button above.
Make a copy by going to File (located in the upper left corner directly below the title). Once you click on the word you will see several options. The fourth down will say Make a copy. Choose this and make a copy of the entire presentation.
Once you have opened your new slide, you can click on any of the line and a text box should appear. You may begin typing in your answers!!
Hover the camera over the QR code, but DO NOT take a picture.
A notification should appear leading you to Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome.
When you open it you’ll find a website (or in the QR code to the right a link to our writing contest)!
