Terrorism is calculated and planned use of violence to create fear(terror) among the public so as to achieve a certain political objective.It can also be defined as a form of asymmetric warfare which is more common when direct conventional warfare will not be effective because opposing forces vary greatly in power.
The FBI defines terrorism as the violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organisations or nations (state-sponsored).
Terrorism has extensively increased in the past 50 years causing fatalities, economic setbacks and disrupting the political ladder .
Explosions and bombings harm millions of people around the world every year.This results in increased financial losses and have political implications.
As it has become global,it influences diplomacy,war and intelligence of any country.
Many children are trained towards a common goal of disruption when they should be going to school for a proper education.
In addition to this,it creates trauma and a feeling of insecurity among the people.
And thus,the IMPACT of a terrorist attack is ever-lasting.
