The AAMAS 2021 PC chairs have shared data that was collected regarding the topics authors chose to classify the papers they submitted to the main track of the conference. See details on the data here.
In short, every author who submitted a paper to the main track of AAMAS-2021 had to select one area of interest (from a list of 10) and any number of research topics (from a list of 79).
Each of the 79 topics was associated with exactly one of the 10 areas, but authors were not required to (and often did not) respect this classification. In the current website, we apply tools of network science, where areas and topics are the vertices of the graphs, and the edges represent the relationships between areas and topics.
We focus both on community detection, as well as on centrality measures.
