We are currently teaching them the basics of English, Kannada, General Knowledge, Math, Science and Communication skills. Apart from academics, we also conduct dance, music, art, acting and other extra-curricular sessions on a regular basis. We do not want our classes to be monotonous or be yet another school for them. Thus we try to make our classes as lively and creative as possible by teaching mainly through games, stories and other fun activities. We want them to explore their talents, improve their communication skills, be self sufficient, know that they are capable of anything and be ready to face the challenges and competitions of the real world. But the aspect we are most proud of is our personalised method of teaching for each kid and the close bond we hold with not just our students but their families too.
The classes are held thrice a week- Wednesday (4.30 - 6), Saturday (4.30 - 6) and Sunday (10.30 - 12). The students are of the age group 5-15 years. The classes are held in a beautiful government place. Right now we have around 30 kids on roll, and a team of 50 enthusiastic volunteers. We are expanding day by day as more kids are eager to join the classes. You can join our little family by opting for the following roles -
