Thanks to our Prof. N. Salem, we have familiarized and studied the following concepts:
Front-end analysis involves gathering information at the beginning of instructional design. It includes identifying the problem, understanding the audience, and determining the context in which learning will occur.
Vision: The desired future state of the learning environment.
Goals: Specific, measurable objectives to achieve the vision.
Metacognition: Thinking about one's own thinking, crucial for self-regulated learning.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Understanding and managing one's emotions and empathizing with others, contributing to effective communication and collaboration.
ZPD, a concept by Vygotsky, is the range of tasks that learners can perform with guidance. It emphasizes the importance of scaffolding and providing appropriate support to facilitate learning.
Identify the skills learners need before starting (entry behaviors) and break down complex skills into smaller, manageable parts (subordinate skills).
Learner Analysis: Understand characteristics, preferences, and prior knowledge of the learners.
Context Analysis: Consider the learning environment, available resources, and any external factors that might affect learning.
Performance Objectives: Clearly state what learners should be able to do. Follow Bloom's Taxonomy for cognitive levels: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation.
Assessment: Use various tools (quizzes, tests, projects) aligned with objectives to measure learning.
Teaching Methods: Employ a variety of strategies such as lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and multimedia presentations. Choose methods that align with learning objectives and the nature of the content.
Formative Evaluation: Ongoing feedback during instruction to identify areas for improvement.
Summative Evaluation: Assess learner achievement at the end of the instruction to determine overall success.
ChatGPT: Can assist in learning contexts by providing information, answering questions, and facilitating discussions. It's a valuable tool for supplementing instruction, but human guidance is essential for a comprehensive learning experience.
In addition to this knowledge, our professor taught us some new features and how to use GPT Chat, google sites, canva, pollev, google documents, power point, QR. I express my gratitude.
