Thank you for using Aadi Jaap. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application. By using Aadi Jaap, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Aadi Jaap is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Contact lists or device identifiers
Financial or payment information
Browsing history or usage patterns sent to any server
All data generated by your use of Aadi Jaap — including your mantra counts, chanting sessions, settings, and spiritual progress — is stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Chanting session history and counts
Daily reminders and preferences
Learning progress and bookmarks
Custom audio files you upload
App theme and display preferences
We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) solely for crash reporting. When the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Firebase containing technical details about the crash (such as device model, Android version, and stack trace). This data is used only to identify and fix bugs to improve your experience.

Aadi Jaap requests only the permissions necessary for its features:
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used only when you record your own voice mantra in the Voice Mantra feature. Audio is stored locally on your device.
Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO): Used to let you choose custom audio files for background ambient sound.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you daily chanting reminders and achievement notifications. You can disable these at any time in Settings.
Internet (INTERNET): Used only by Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting.
Aadi Jaap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe your child has used this app, please contact us and we will address your concerns promptly.
Since all your data remains on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings. We recommend keeping your device locked with a PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
The only third-party service used by Aadi Jaap is Firebase Crashlytics (Google). We do not integrate with advertising networks, social media platforms, or analytics services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Aadi Jaap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
