How to Get Aadhar Card?

Adhaar is a 12 digit Unique Identification Number issued to all the Indian residents based on their biometrics and demographic data. For this data is collected by UIDAI i.e. Unique Identification Authority of India a permitted authority established in January 2009 by the government of India. It is the worlds largest and most important identity of an individual require. It is useful for many government based schemes and devices like passport, Jan Dhan Yojana , provident fund, monthly pensions and many more. It is a very strategic tool for social and financial inclusions. It is one of the key pillars of making in DIGITAL INDIA where every individual has its own unique identity. This has achieved an amazing milestone and till now it is the largest biometrics based on identification system in the world.

One can apply for adhaar card by going to enrolment centre or online also.

Steps to apply for adhaar card:-

• Search nearby eadhaar card centre or do it online by going to official website of UIDAI
• Fill the enrolment form
• After filling submit the form along all the required documents like identity proof and address proof.
• When submission of documents is done then biometrics are to be done.
• For further records photo is clicked by them only
• At last one need to collect the enrolment slip there is a 14 digit number on it which will help to check to status online

To get a Adhar Card in hand or downloaded:-

• Visit adhaar card official website uidai.gov.in
• Go to adhaar online services
• Fill all required details
• You will receive an OTP enter it you will get downloaded pdf
• After verification it will delivered at your door st
