CamEd Business School Achievements in AY 2020-2025
In the last six years (2020 to 2025), CamEd Business School has demonstrated strong and increasingly consistent performance across key academic and employability areas. Admissions showed resilience—BAF surpassed its target 600+ in 2021 and finished very close to the target in 2025, while MSAF admissions (began from 2022) exceeded targets every year, reflecting steady growth. Student retention was a standout strength: BAF retention exceeded the 90% target every year reported (rising to 94% in 2024), while MSAF retention also outperformed its 70% target in 2023 and 2024 (75% and 82%, respectively). Work placement also improved dramatically, climbing from 32% in 2021 to 62% in 2023 and achieving 100% in 2024 and 2025. Certification exam results were generally strong—especially CAT, which consistently exceeded the 50% target, while ACCA mostly met expectations with a slight dip in 2025, and diploma results were mixed. Graduate outcomes were particularly impressive: BAF employment remained exceptionally high at 98–99% from 2020–2024 against an 85% target, and MSAF employment reached 100% in both 2024 and 2025, exceeding its 80% target. Overall, the data highlights sustained student success and outstanding employability outcomes in the last six years, with several 2025 results still pending or to be updated.
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF)
The chart shows consistently strong student retention across all transition points, with the highest retention rates observed between Years 3 and 4 throughout the period. Retention from Year 1 to Year 2 remains stable in the mid-to-high 80% range from 2020 to 2022, before improving to 89% in 2023 and 91% in 2024. Retention from Year 2 to Year 3 is consistently high, fluctuating narrowly between 92% and 95%. Retention from Year 3 to Year 4 is strongest overall, remaining at or above 96% each year. Taken together, the data indicate sustained student progression, with recent gains in early-year retention contributing to overall improvement.
Student attrition stood at 14% in 2024, Year1. However, it declined from 14% in 2020 to 9% in 2024. Year 2 attrition fluctuates, rising from 5% in 2020 to 8% in 2021–2022, dipping in 2023, and returning to 8% in 2024. In contrast, attrition in Year 3 remains low and stable throughout the period, while Year 4 shows a gradual increase to 8%in 2024. Overall, early-year attrition is decreasing, but final-year attrition is rising slightly, requiring actions for improvement.
The table above shows the enrollment and on-time graduation rates for AY 2020-2024. The results illustrate that the on-time graduation rate was 65% in 2020 and slightly decreased to 59% in 2021.
BAF Career Advancement in AY 2020-2024
The chart shows that work placement rates six months after graduation are consistently higher than the 85% target every year. Actual placement rates remain very high, ranging from 98% to 99% from 2020 to 2024. These results show that most graduates find jobs within six months and that employment outcomes have remained strong and stable over time.
The chart shows student career advancement results compared with a target of 90% from 2020 to 2024. From 2020 to 2022, results slightly exceed the target at 91% each year. In 2023, the result drops to 86%, falling below the target. In 2024, the decline continued more sharply, with results decreasing to 75%. Overall, the data show strong performance in earlier years, followed by a clear downward trend in career advancement outcomes in the most recent two years.
Master of Science in Accounting and Finance (MSAF)
The chart shows improved student retention above the 70% target across academic years. In 2023, retention from Year 1 to Year 2 was 76%, while retention from Year 2 to Year 3 was slightly lower at 72%. In 2024, both measures increased, with Year 1–2 retention rising to 84% and Year 2–3 retention improving to 80%, indicating stronger student progression and overall improvement in retention outcomes over time.
