Faculty Sufficiency and Qualifications Report 2025
Remark: Faculty Leadership Roles
CamEd has several faculty who hold significant leadership and administrative appointments. For the purposes of assessing qualifications for AACSB reporting purposes, these roles comprise President, Chairman and members of Board of Governors, IQA Senior Manager, and Chair of Center for Business Research. The significant majority of their work is allocated to their administrative duties in support of the School’s Vision and Mission. For the purposes of reporting on AACSB Faculty Qualifications, these faculty are classified based on their background and previous six years of contribution at the point of commencing the leadership position consistent with the criteria in Section 2 in the Faculty Classification Policy. For the duration of their appointment in a leadership role, they should sustain their currency and relevance throughacademic and/or professional activities in alignment with their qualifications classification and leadership focus. These activities will be recorded as part of the annual reporting process (see Section 5). Upon cessation of a leadership role, the incumbent retains this classification for a period of three years before being assessed against the maintenance requirements.
To be SA, the faculty members with administrative assignments must have at least 2 academic engagement activities in the accreditation cycle, of which at least 1 must be a PRJ in a Scopus-indexed or ABDC-ranked journal.
For details, please refer to the Faculty Classification Policy above. One credit hour equals 15 in-class contact hours. Courses at CamEd Business School are either 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6 credit hours.
