Only a 20-minute drive from Eugene, Spencer Butte is the highest point in Eugene and a popular hiking spot for locals and tourists. There are two trails to choose from, one for beginners and one for those who like a challenge.

The Willamette River runs through Eugene, Corvallis, Albany, and Salem for nearly 200 miles! The Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path is a popular biking path along the Willamette River. You can rent bicycles from the University of Oregon's Outdoor Program or use the PeaceHealth bikes spread throughout the city.
