Only a 20-minute drive from Eugene, Spencer Butte is the highest point in Eugene and a popular hiking spot for locals and tourists. There are two trails to choose from, one for beginners and one for those who like a challenge.

bike ride along the willamette river 

The Willamette River runs through Eugene, Corvallis, Albany, and Salem for nearly 200 miles! The Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path is a popular biking path along the Willamette River. You can rent bicycles from the University of Oregon's Outdoor Program or use the PeaceHealth bikes spread throughout the city.

The Saturday Market is filled with artwork from local artisans, handmade crafts, food, and live music. Open from 10 AM - 4 PM. 

For fresh locally grown produce, the farmer's market is just across the street from the Saturday Market! Open from 9 AM - 3 PM.
