Aerosol, Air Quality and Climate Change Research Society was constituted during the AAC - 2018, is a registered society under the Government of India Act 21, 1860 vide the registration number UK06102112020005220.
The society provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, know-how, resources, and information among the researchers, member organizations, industrial counterparts, and related disciplines by organizing conferences, technical meetings, lectures, and publications for the scientists, researchers and students endeavoring towards the advancements in the field of Aerosol, Air Quality and Climate Change Research in India.
Our Mission
As Society AACCRS will provide a means for the exchange of scientific knowledge and resources for the advancement of Atmospheric/Aerosol science. Its main objectives are:
1. To well promote the climate change, aerosol and air quality research in India.
2. To promote, encourage and develop the growth of atmospheric Physics /Aerosol science and technology disciplines and their applications in the country.
3. To disseminate information concerning the developments in the field through publications such as bulletins, reports, newsletters and journals.
4. To organize workshops, symposia, seminars, courses etc. in various parts of the country, so as to offer a platform for reporting and discussing new developments.
5. To organize regional chapters of the society in different parts of the country as and when need arises.
6. To promote international co-operation through affiliation with similar bodies abroad, exchange information, joint symposia and meetings etc., in the field of aerosol science and technology.
Our Vision
AACCRS will be committed to finding new ways and promoting the existing functionary towards the advancement in the field of Atmospheric/ aerosol research.
Awareness program on climate change, air pollution, environmental safety, management etc. Students would encourage to study on atmospheric sciences, environmental sciences or post-graduate students could be encouraged to carry out researches on climate change, air pollution etc.
OUTREACH program for the school and college students and also for post-graduate students where some popular lectures would be delivered by some eminent speakers, demonstrations, hands-on experiments etc.

The society is committed to finding new ways and promoting the existing functionary towards the advancement in the following domains:
Atmospheric Effects: Atmospheric Dispersion, Atmospheric Electricity, Cloud Physics, Acid Rain, Atmospheric Radioactivity, Climate Change, Visibility, Source Apportionment and Receptor Modeling.
Industrial Safety and Applications: Material synthesis, Sprays, Defense Application, Air cleaning Technology, Occupational protection, Dyes and Paints.
Basic Sciences: Nucleation, Aggregation, Mesoscopic State, Soft-condensed matter, Fractals.
Nanomaterials: Material Synthesis, EHD Sprays, Nano Aerosol, Measurement, Nanocoatings.
Bylaws
Aerosol, Air Quality and Climate Change Research Society was constituted during the AAC - 2018, is a registered society under the Government of India Act 21, 1860 vide the registration number UK06102112020005220.
The Association is at liberty to establish bylaws and make rules and regulations deemed appropriate for the management of affairs so long as such bylaws and regulations are not inconsistent with the laws of the State and Central Governments.
