Joseph is an Educational Venture Analyst and a passionate advocate for the special needs community. He holds a MBA, M.Ed (Leadership), and is currently in pursuit of his Master of Educational Technology at UBC. He works for a First Nations organization and serves as a Board Director for a local organization supporting special needs families. Joseph has enjoyed travelling to an orphan's camp in South Africa, attending the world's 1st SATB2 Conference in Arkansas, experiencing Disneyland with his family in California, and increasing his knowledge at Idaho's AAC Camp in 2019.
Joyce is an Educational Venture Analyst and a K-12 educator who has a passion for using technology to teach and provide opportunities for people with all abilities to learn. Joyce is currently a graduate student in the Master of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia. She is also a mother to two boys, one of whom has special needs and uses an AAC device. Joyce has extensive experience in using AAC apps and has presented workshops on implementation strategies for building communication and learning through AAC.
