A Study on the Variation in Hydrodynamic and Morphological Characteristics of an Offtake with Offtake Angle
(B.Sc. Thesis)
Supervisor: Dr. A T M Hasan Zobeyer, Professor, Department of WRE, BUET
There is a direct correlation between offtake discharge and offtake angle.
Flow velocity and water depth decrease as the offtake angle increases.
Alternating erosion and deposition along the bank transform the initial straight offtake into a meandering one.
