Anderson & Associates Architecture Planning was formed in 1987, with experience in designing residential and commercial projects. Anderson & Associates has developed an approach that emphasizes custom detailing and building performance while working closely with clients to navigate project goals, budgets and site constraints. We believe that good design can coexist with smart design and that reducing the amount of energy a building consumes is an important goal that should be considered for every project.

New technology has presented a tremendous opportunity to architects in recent years through more sophisticated design and analysis tools as well as access to automated cutting and fabrication processes. With consideration of each client's needs, Anderson & Associates explores the potential of these tools with the goal of creating more interesting, beautiful, and better performing buildings.

My affinity for design first emerged as a young child through my ability to transform a cardboard box and Sears catalog into a three bedroom doll house. Cardboard cutouts quickly became a thing of the past and Barbies commanded my attention. From apartments constructed on the ‘green lawn’ pool table, to the placement of furniture in my pink dream house, I was captivated with creating the perfect space for my plastic friends.

My knack for space planning became apparent when I began rearranging my bedroom. I found satisfaction in discovering the many ways I could single-handily rearrange a space. Not much has changed in that respect.

My desire for a broader market landed me in Anderson & Associates Architectural Planning. Working with Richard Anderson on numerous projects around Orange County and Los Angeles, carving out my niche in the world of Interior Design. I’m grateful everyday to my wonderful clients who have entrusted me with their homes and offices. I live and breathe to have a relationship with a space and the people in it. As I continue to experience creative growth and artistic freedom I find myself right where I belong... living the life I have imagined.
