1939～1945年まで続いた第二次世界大戦渦中の英国にて設計、配備されたオープンボルト方式の短機関銃、圧倒的な生産性によりMKⅠからMKⅥで約370万艇～約460万艇ほどが製造されたとされている。

It is an open-bolt submachine gun designed and deployed in the UK during World War II, which lasted from 1939 to 1945. Due to its incredible productivity, it is said that approximately 3.7 to 4.6 million units were produced from MK I to MK VI.
