A2Gold is a gold rate display app.

We care about your privacy and security  of your personal information. 

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data We Collect

WiFi network information (stored on your device only): 

When you connect the app to your gold rate display device, we store the WiFi network name (SSID) and password you enter, so the app can reconnect automatically next time. This is saved locally on your phone — it is never sent to our servers or any third party, and never leaves your device except to connect directly to your own display device over your local network. 

Device connection data: 

The app communicates directly with your gold rate display device over your local WiFi network (or the device's own hotspot) to send rate updates. This is a direct, local connection between your phone and your device — it does not pass through our servers.

Gold rate preferences: 

Your chosen purities (e.g. 24K, 22K, 22K, 18K), custom rates you type in, and your gram-unit preference (1g/10g) are stored locally on your device so your settings persist between app sessions. 

Location permission (Android): 

The app requests location access solely because Android requires it to scan for nearby WiFi networks. We do not access, collect, track, or store your GPS location or any location data. 

No account or personal information: 

The app does not require sign-up or login, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier. 

How We Use This Data

We use the data described above to: 

WiFi network details — used only to reconnect your phone to your saved network and to your gold rate display device automatically, without asking for the password every time. 

Device connection — used to send your rate updates directly to your display device over your local network, so it shows the correct rates. 

Gold rate preferences (purities, custom rates, gram unit) — used to restore your settings exactly as you left them each time you open the app, and to build the data sent to your display device. 

Location permission — used only to satisfy Android's requirement for scanning nearby WiFi networks. We do not use it to determine or record your actual location. 

Gold rate data requests — used solely to fetch and display current gold/silver rates in the app. 

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The App does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. 

Children's Privacy

Our application does not address any one under the age of 13. we do not collect any personal information  from children through  our application. 

We may update our Privacy Policy time to time. we will notify you  of any changes  by posting the new privacy policy  on this page.
