Accepted papers will be published as part of the regular FG 2027 conference proceedings and made available through IEEE Xplore. They will not appear in separate workshop proceedings. All authors should carefully review the official FG 2027 submission and author guidelines and ensure that their manuscripts comply with the conference requirements. Submissions must present original and unpublished work and must not be simultaneously submitted to another venue.
FG 2027 will take place April 26–30, 2027, in Marrakesh, Morocco, as a fully in-person conference. Authors of accepted Special Session papers are expected to register for and present their work at the conference.
Paper Submission
Paper submission and reviewing will be handled through the official FG 2027 CMT submission system. Each Special Session will be configured as a dedicated track within the main FG 2027 CMT system:
https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/FG2027
Authors should select the appropriate Special Session track when submitting their paper.
FG 2027 follows a one-round review process.
Paper Formatting
Special Session papers must follow the same formatting and page-limit requirements as regular FG 2027 submissions. FG 2027 will consider two different paper types, i.e., Short and Long Papers. Authors should carefully consider the category before submitting a paper. Short papers (4 pages + 1 page for references) should present original and highly promising research or applications. Long papers (8 pages + references) should present original reports of substantive new research techniques, findings, and applications.
Authors of special session papers should use the official FG 2027 author kit and carefully follow the formatting, anonymization, supplementary-material, and submission requirements specified in the FG 2027 Call for Papers. Paper templates are available below:
