Yes. It is a waste they cut those kiss scenes of MLs.ReplyEdith Tirazona saysApril 6, 2023 at 5:26 amI did like the acting of Vin Zhang, esp the the way his character looks at Esther Yu, kiss or no kiss, the way he looks at her will make you heart flutter, an emotion of true love.. I am a lover of romance, and if a gesture will bring out fleeting emotion of love from viewer like me, then it is ok., BTW, the late kissing scene, made up the way both characters did their part, Mr Zhang is a good kisser.ReplyLeave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published. A Romance of the Little Forest was a Chinese romance drama, released in 2022. For Yu Meiren there were only two things that made her excited: Birds and makeup. Yu Meiren worked as a famous beauty blogger who record many videos of her trying new makeup. She was dedicated to her job and had gained many online followers. And with a smart boss who supported her, nothing can stop the Mermaid With Long Legs. The only problem was her job as a blogger must be kept from her parents, who wanted her to have a more stable job such as a teacher or scientist.

Aside from spending hours in front of the mirror, Yu Meiren also spends hours walking around parks or little forest near her home to take tons of pictures of birds. Not many knew that the famous beauty blogger also hold a doctorate in ornithology. Bird watching was the only reason that made Yu Meiren woke up early in the morning. Her bird photography skill was also famous online.

The family, with the addition of Adeline, proceeds into the darkened interior of a forest, hoping to elude discovery and heeding the warnings of the stranger to not come back on the land they just left. Eventually, they find refuge in a ruined abbey after their wagon wheel breaks. Initially, everyone in the group except Peter is afraid of what lies in waiting behind the abbey walls; however, closer inspection by Peter shows the only inhabitants are mice, owls, bats, and the like. Still afraid of being pursued by creditors, the family and Adeline stay close to the abbey. Peter is sent into the town of Auboine for supplies to fix their broken wagon wheel. After returning to the family, Peter confides to Pierre that while he was in town he got in a fight and was unable to procure the necessary supplies for fixing the wheel, but he did purchase some food to tide them over.

Meanwhile, "Louis, by numberless little attentions, testified his growing affection for Adeline, who continued to treat them as passing civilities. It happened, one stormy night, as they were preparing for rest, that they were alarmed by a trampling of horses near the abbey".[5] The riders introduce themselves as the Marquis de Montalt, who is the owner of the abbey, and his attendants, one of which is named Theodore. Pierre becomes more distressed after the appearance of the Marquis. Louis notes this distress, but must soon leave to return to his regiment. During this time, Theodore attempts to warn Adeline that he fears she has been deceived and danger is upon her. Before he can formally speak with Adeline, he is sent to return to his regiment as well.

In 1765 Horace Walpole published The Castle of Otranto, widely regarded by modern literary historians to be the first occasion of Gothic fiction.[10] A decade later, Clara Reeve wrote The Old English Baron, the first "Gothic" novel to be penned by a woman, and in 1783 Sophia Lee produced The Recess, a story set in the time of Queen Elizabeth I.[11] These works prefigured much of the material and themes that Radcliffe would synthesise in her novels, most particularly ideas of the supernatural, terror, romance, and history.[12]

Whether on a honeymoon or simply a retreat, travel can inspire romance. Find a small hotel with gardens for quiet walks or secluded parlors for long talks, combine it with memorable dining and you have a sure recipe . . . at least we think so.

Candlelight bathed the dining room in a golden glow that gilded the white linens and fresh flowers on each table. Our table was in a corner, next to tall windows looking out onto a lily pond. Black walnut, elm and ginkgo trees at the edge of the woods beyond were illumined to create the vision of an enchanted forest. It was a setting made for romance.

The Boulders in Carefree, Ariz., just north of Phoenix, captures the romance of the Southwest better than any place we know. The 136 casitas, or small villas, resemble Indian pueblos, and all the buildings seem sculpted from the giant red granite formations that carve strange shapes against the cobalt blue sky. Desert walks wind past giant saguaro cacti, palo verde trees and desert lavender.

Use the listed call numbers to find the books on the third floor, unless otherwise specified. Find more books in the library catalog by searching romance fiction or love stories as subject headings.

NOT LONG AFTER the preceding incident, in order to get the ache of too constant labor out of my bones, and to relieve my spirit of the irksomeness of a settled routine, I took a holiday. It was my purpose to spend it, all alone, from breakfast-time till twilight, in the deepest wood-seclusion that lay anywhere around us. Though fond of society, I was so constituted as to need these occasional retirements, even in a life like that of Blithedale, which was itself characterized by a remoteness from the world. Unless renewed by a yet farther withdrawal towards the inner circle of self-communion, I lost the better part of my individuality. My thoughts became of little worth, and my sensibilities grew as arid as a tuft of moss, (a thing whose life is in the shade, the rain, or the noontide dew,) crumbling in the sunshine, after long expectance of a shower. So, with my heart full of a drowsy pleasure, and cautious not to dissipate my mood by previous intercourse with any one, I hurried away, and was soon pacing a wood-path, arched overhead with boughs, and dusky brown beneath my feet.

A moment afterwards, I heard a voice at a little distance behind me, speaking so sharply and impertinently that it made a complete discord with my spiritual state, and caused the latter to vanish, as abruptly as when you thrust a finger into a soap-bubble.
