On average, Australians living in rural communities die from suicide at twice the rate of those living in cities, yet those in rural communities are only able to access mental health services at a fifth of the rate of city people.
Farmers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are those most at risk of suicide.
The goal of this tour is to travel through rural communities, and bring to light the mental health issues that plague rural Australia.

I also have a radar system mounted to the rear of my bike to inform me of any vehicles coming up the back of me. I will be carrying 12 litres of water, with the furthest stop between water sources being 250km's.
