“THIS PARTY IS GREAT,” you shouted to your friend Lily over the blaring music. You and your friend group (Brianna, Lily, Stephanie, Noelle, and Courtney) decided to host a party at your apartment to celebrate finals week being over. You have been friends for as long as you can remember, and though you have ups and downs you’ve all managed to stay close.
Lily grinned back at you, the strobe lights briefly illuminating her face. Out of all your friends, you and Lily have always been the closest and have gone through everything together in college.
Your friend Noelle walks over to you, eyes glinting mischievously. “I come bearing gifts,” she announces, thrusting two solo cups filled with jungle juice and ice at Lily and you. “You know what, why not,” you say smirking, and down the drink handed to you. You then tug Lily’s hand and you lead the way to the back porch, where you pass around a cigarette and update Lily on your love life. Your favorite thing about Lily is that she is a great listener, and she looked at you with her full attention, idly sipping her drink.
The party begins to wind down and soon your house is just you and your 4 roommates. You still want to stay up and talk to Lily, but you notice she looks pale and worn out. “I’ll let you sleep,” you say to Lily, giving her a wave. She smiled back tiredly at you, and wished you a good night.
Little did you know, this would be the last time you saw Lily alive. The next day, she was found unresponsive in her bedroom, and it was ruled that she died from ingesting poison. The suspects list was quickly ruled down to you and your three other roommates, and you have the most suspicion cast upon you since you were the last person seen with Lily.
Will you be able to prove your innocence and figure out which of your friends killed her?
